Dryer
SISMETAL, using more than forty years of experience in the sector of thermal machines, has developed a new low energy consumption dryers for sanitaryware and plaster moulds in response to the significant and continuous increase of fuel prices. The operating temperature is between 50°C and 65° C and it’s not necessary to introduce steam as the system uses the moisture contained in the pieces themselves.
The air is driven by two groups of fans, one for the circulation of heated air and recirculation of internal air and another for moisture extraction. The air reaches the entire surface uniformly by exploiting the isotropic pressure principle, so you can avoid rotating cones or other similar system, that absorb a remarkable amount of total energy required by the dryer. The latest-generation supervision and control system, allows various drying cycles to be set and controls and records temperature and humidity.
The control panel consists of an embedded PC with touch screen that allows the drying and pre-ventilation curve to be set step by step joining the single step with proper event. It is possible to fit a device to hold a telephone SIM card that can send alarm or cycle start/finish messages and, if interrogated, it can responds with the requested data /temperature, humidity, etc).
The hot air generators are sealed chamber type and the air that flows in the plant is free of smokes. The hot air combustion chambers is made of high-strength stainless steel which does not release any oxi dized metallic particles. The system can interface with the heat recovery systems if present in the factory, either directly with tunnel or shuttle kilns. On request, special versions can be built with water / air exchanger and versions designed for mounting on masonry structures built by the customer.
