CASTING UNIVERSAL MACHINE 5 MOLDS - UM 5S
The machine is made up of a metal structure which supports a movable platform on which the lower half-mold is anchored, and an upper platform on which the upper half-mold is anchored and which has the function of keeping the mold closed. The mold is kept closed between the two frames (by pneumatic hoses) during the casting and drying phase.
The frames have the characteristic of being able to lift and rotate both right and left in any position (flat, vertical or inclined depending on the operation to be performed).
They are also equipped with micrometric adjustments to accommodate molds of all sizes.
It is possible to cast all the sanitary ware composed of two or three parts (if the third part is manually removable) such as: hang toilets and bidets (made with three-part molds), washbasins of all types, sinks, shower trays, tanks, columns or other special pieces. If you want to work with 4-piece molds, the machine must be supported by the SM 20 demoulder.
The machine allows the re-use of molds for manual casting, to cast and drain them always in any position, without any effort on the part of the operator, as all movements are electrically controlled (by gear motor).
It is adaptable to small productions and to productions that require frequent mold changes.
It only needs a 380 V 50 Hz power supply.
CASTING PLANT
The casting plant consists of a series of 3 “PVC pipes with tie outlets for fixing ¾” ball valves, manual calibration valves, pneumatic opening and closing valves and 2 level control tanks with ø 300x600mm. The feeding to the molds is carried out with a silicon pipe (Liguria type) with an internal ø of 20mm.
A slip emptying system made by means of a blower, a low pressure side channel and overpressure valve. The air is distributed to the molds through a system of aluminum pipes, calibration ball valves, pressure gauge with scale from zero to 1 bar, flexible pipes (natural silicone internal ø 13 mm) and ¼ “valves for the connection of the shapes .
The plant is complete with a locking system for demoulding plates and demoulding trolleys.

The machine is made by coupling modules either in length or width. If you plan to apply a dryer, you should create a series of machines coupled in length. For saving, the coupling in length allows to use demoulders on multiple benches, staggered appropriately casting time. The moulds are closed by the machine horizontally with pneumatic compressors and vertically by bracing.

- Support benches moulds fixed seats on line with two fixed push heads and track for sliding bogies.
- Two movable units equipped with a release system from fixing on the bench.
- Two hydraulic pressure units, mounted on the moving heads, each consisting of four cylinders with the oscillating head adaptive and relative pressurization pump. The average pressure of closing on the four points is usually 40 bar.
- Truck for the furniture in equal in number to moulds assembled.
- Manual system for lifting bride, with wire ropes and counter weights.
- Casting plant using PVC pipes, supply and distribution valves, stainless steel tank and accessories to use (taps, probes etc).

There remains a need to have a demoulder LEM type to release piece and then the magnetic plugs, because the plugs must be fitted with internal magnets having to replace the piston clamp placed at the top.

Requires good manual dexterity and considerable skill in laying the adhesive modelling must take into account the point of junction to maximize its invisibility.

Coupling can take place either in length or width. If you plan to apply a dryer, you should create a battery of machines coupled in length. Demoulder device Ulysses.
The casting machine demould into a tilted position, it need two people to avoid the sliding of the piece and transfer it to the deposit.
If you desire to avoid the second person, using the Ulysses, the extraction operation, it lift-up the piece on the desired plan and relocating it in automatic way. The operator only is a supervisor, in addition to that to achieve processing required on the demoulding piece (creating holes technicians, eliminating smearing etc).

The dryer is available on request, can be placed on the machine to achieve a double casting daily. Generally a blow for undermould is enough, included, to realize the second casting. Dryer need only if the slip is very particular and need long time.

Demoulder device Mini Ulysses.
As the machine demoulding on flat, two people only to transfer the piece to the deposit are enough. If you want to avoid the second person, using the simple demoulder device Mini Ulysses type, the lifting operation on the desired floor and replacing the piece is fully automatic and can be performed by a single operator who has the supervisor role, in addition to that, in any case, to realize the necessary work on the piece just demoulded (technical realization holes, removing burrs, etc).

The machine is made by coupling modules in line from 50 or 60 moulds. The coupling can be either in length or width. If you plan to apply a dryer, you should realize a set of coupled machines in width. For economy, the width coupling allows to reuse the demoulder on several benches, adding a translator and a track, staggering appropriately casting times. The moulds are closed horizontally at pack.

The dryer is available upon request, it can be mounted on the machine to make a daily double casting. Usually the blower with inflatable tube sub-moulds type is enough, supplied, in order to achieve a second casting. The dryer is used only if the slip is particularly and needs long time.
Permitted Uses.
Casting wash basins / shower trays, columns etc.. large with high quality expectations.
Casting machine for tank
The machine is made by 15+15 pieces on 2 parallel lines. The coupling can be either in length or width It is possible to apply a dryer for demoulds, the “on length” disposition is cheaper for dryer installation.
The module consists of:
- Support bench mould on floor where lower semi-moulds are fixed (concave).
- Higher cross lifted which supports upper semi-mould (convex).
- Lifting system implemented by gear motors, trapezoidal screws.
- The moulds closing system is mechanical with a pneumatic system to have a perfect fit to the moulds.
- Casting plant using PVC pipes, supply and distribution valves, stainless steel tank and accessories to use (taps, probes etc).
- Electrical system with switchboard, protection and control casting cycle.
- All safety devices provided by the most stringent existing standards and manuals on.
- The piece can be extract easily by hand, even staying on top (by placing under a plateau of demoulder and releasing it with a blast of compressed air) to parade it from the lower (in this case it is necessary to choose define demoulding points or mould pieces to be removed).
Deposit bench.
Considering high piece density the same are deposited on trolleys reducing space of fixed deposit bench, on specific request.
Demoulder device Mini Telemachus type.
To facilitate the extraction of the piece from the lower moulds, especially for very large tanks or basins etc. You can use the simplified demoulder Mini Telemachus type. Thanks it the lifting operation on the desired floor and replacing the piece is fully automatic. It is all pneumatic, as also the necessary vacuum to suction sampling is achieved by draft gage to venturi effect.
Dryer.
The dryer, available on request, can be placed on the machine to achieve a double casting daily.
Permitted uses.
This machine was made to realize pieces with obliged thickness (without drainage) and with two parts moulds, but it can be also used to produce other pieces, always into 2 parts and not big size, realized with mould divided into two parts such as wash basin.
Casting machine servo-assisted type
The casting machine, CSC type, allows simultaneous casting from one to six plaster moulds, depending of the mould size and type.
The module consists of:
It consists of special frames where mould can be fixed. It has the characteristic of being able to rotate the frames both jointly or individually. It can casts all sanitary wares composed by two or three parts (if the third party is manually removable) such as toilets and bidets suspended (made with molds in three parts), wash basins of all kinds, kitchen sinks, shower trays, cisterns, columns, other special parts, etc. The casting machine, CSC type, allows to install moulds initially developed for manual casting, allowing casting and dripping them into every position (at flat, vertical or inclined as needed) and it is true even for demoulding phase possible in any position with a minimum effort for the operator (in fact it presents a series of adjustable counter- weights, related to the weight of the mould, to minimize the effort to lift its the various parts).
The operator can rotate the two parts of the mould for casting and drain in each desire location. Demoulding phase allows taking away two semi-moulds (assisted by ropes and counterweights system) and turning them independently, in any position you desire. The piece is removed from the mould, settled in horizontal position, through a demoulder- truck with pneumatic function (it mounted only an auxiliary rubber pneumatic cylinder). The units can be coupled freely into length or frontally, by means of proper accessories provided.
Permitted Uses.
It is a good solution for small productions, productions that require frequent changes of moulds, tests of production of simple maintenance, without power supply and then easy to move from a department to another.
